Blogs to Bookmark for Home Based Business Owners

Do you have your favorite blogs to bookmark and read? Just like the local paper and your favorite columnist, there are bloggers that we look to for advice, trends and tips for success.
I'd like to share a couple that I enjoy reading and perhaps you'll add yours to the list.
Duct Tape Marketing John Jantsch is a small business marketing guru. He offers wonderful information about how to market your business successfully without needing the budget of a multi-million dollar company.
Two other marketing blogs I enjoy reading are Drew's Marketing Minute and Branding and Marketing.
Drew McLellan is another one offering great tips and he is also one of the master minds behind the Age of Conversation one and two. Age of Conversation 3 will hit bookstores around the country later this spring. They are a great series of books featuring over 200 marketing/business professionals and their stories for success.
Chris Brown is the author behind Branding and Marketing. She is a friend and a wonderfully talented business executive. She offers great advice on branding your business and her site has terrific additional tools like worksheets and resources to help with business.
I also like to read the name tag guy, Scott Ginsberg at Hello My Name Is Scott. His focus is on networking and being approachable. I never read anyone who could create LISTS like Scott does. Always interesting.
Mashable isn't something I read so much as a site I STUDY. For social media research there isn't any other site as far as I'm concerned.
Thinking about goals for your business. Try Chris Brogan's three word approach. I only have one word so far this year: NARROW.
For customer service I read my own blog Make or Break Moments (gotta read it before I hit "publish") but I also really enjoy Church of the Customer written by Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba. They just seem to have their finger on the pulse.
Enough for now – who do you read? Who can't you start your day without? Not sure? Then tell us what your blog is and we'll give it a visit!
