Tomorrow, April 20, 2010, Good Morning America will publish a contest form on their website that could lead you to a once in a life time dream.
The contest Living the Dream asks participants to write down their dream in 100 words or less. Submit your entry form and winners will be chosen and spotlighted during the sweeps month of May.
Some early entries have been submitted in the comments section of the post:
- A home of their own
- Their book published
- Chance to work with Ty Pennington
- Their favorite recipes spotlighted on the food network
- Much needed surgery
- Funds to move to a different city
You name it – people are asking for it to come true.
So what would your dream be? Is it work related? Do you have a dream of taking your home based business out of the basement and into an office building? Do you want to be on Oprah? Travel around the world?
Okay – here's mine:
My two musical idols are Carly Simon and Rosemary Clooney. Their rich voices and ability to bring a song to life has been a gift I've tried to emulate in my 40+ years of singing. I grew up listening to Carly and dreamed of spending a day with her, sitting at the piano harmonizing or strumming our guitars and jamming to her hits and lesser known songs. Rosemary Clooney had a unique way of phrasing her songs that no other artist has matched. A dream come true would be singing Rosemary Clooney songs, in front of a great Big Band.
Silly. I know. But hey – it's my dream.
