Measure the Effectiveness of your Website

Measure the Effectiveness of your Website

Are you using Google Analytics? Do you review the stats from your web host of your website or blog traffic? I know – it is a pain and then what are you supposed to do with the information?

Well, add two more tools that I recently read about in Entrepreneur Magazine:

Xinureturns

This is so cool. Type in your URL and you'll get information about your Title tag (how many words and how many you can add) same with key words. It shows you your page rank on Google and Yahoo and Alexa. Great stuff!

The other site is Site Explorer from Yahoo. This one takes more work because you have to embed text into your site for the analysis but it looks like it monitors the number of links coming into your site and where they come from.

Alexa is another site that counts the number of inbound links without having to embed HTML.

It is worth taking the time on a monthly basis to see how your site is doing and to gauge the traffic count.
